Solar Millennium has begun to construct a 9,500 acre solar facility on Mojave Desert lands that Native Americans and others consider sacred. The area contains scores of ancient geoglyphs, large rock drawings of human and geometric arrangements that offer a window into the minds of the earliest inhabitants of the area. This land should be protected as a World Heritage Site.
It is unconscionable that these antiquities should be subject to destruction due to "fast tracked" energy projects having been given a free pass by the BLM (Bureau of Land Management). This is a companion piece to "No Shame, No Respect, Solar Millennium Builds a Road on Ancient Geoglyphs."
